Job Description

Main purpose of the role:
The role of the Operational Excellence Analyst is to enhance cross-functional integration,
and to create a continuous improvement culture for On the Dot Media Sales and Logistics.

Key responsibilities:
(The primary tasks, functions and deliverables of the role)
  • Lead multiple and simultaneous planned company improvement projects of significant size and scope;
  • Maintain overall project tracking, interfacing directly with project leaders;
  • Ensure projects are tracked as required and results are communicated to stakeholders as required;
  •  Develop analytical tools and reports (e.g., staffing models, inventory models, etc.) in order to manage and improve supply chain performance;
  •  Maintain and provide support on the use of analytical reports to customers;
  • Identify supply chain metrics (e.g., forecast variance, total spending, cost savings,customer service) using data collection methods in order to monitor performance.
  •  Work collaboratively with all departments to improve supply chain efficiencies, identifying operational inefficiencies, present proposed process improvements and assist in implementation and training thereon and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders;
  • Improve productivity and capability through current technology enablement,training, process improvement and the identification of best practices;
  • Provide training as required on interpretation of available management /KPI reports,new methodology and identify process improvement and new methodologies tointerpret and manage KPIs; and
  • Design, implementation and management of efficiency programs in order to achieve desired operational and financial outcome.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Relavant Degree in Logistics / Industrial Engineering or related field of study;
  • 3 - 5 years' experience in Logistics / Distribution environment;
  • Experience in a FMCG environment (Preferred);
    Multifaceted experience across different fundtions and industries will be beneficial;
  • Proven experience in leading and managing successful projects across functional areas with demontrated; process improvement;
  • Proven project and resource management experience ;
  • Proven experience in excellent customer relationships;
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including Health & Safety legislation, transport and labour legislation;
  • Knowlegde of distribution processes / operations;
  • intermediate to Advanced Level of Microsoft office packages.
