||On the Dot, a subsidiary of Media24 in Gauteng, currently requires the services of a Non Media Site Manager. We seek to appoint a dynamic and energetic individual to assume responsibility as Non Media Site Manager, reporting to the Regional Warehouse Manager. The position will be based at their offices in Johannesburg/Pretoria. Main purpose of the role: Responsible for offsite location, managing third party inventory, preparation of On the Dot shipments, utilizing the prescribed system and complying with statutory rules and guidelines. Maintain a workable and cohesive relationship with the operations manager of the site.
||• Matric (Grade12) or equivalent qualification, • Valid driver’s license • Degree or studying towards a degree in the field • 2 - 3 years’ branch / site management experience; • 2 – 3 years’ Warehouse supervision experience • Previous experience in FMCG; • Previous supply chain management experience; • Retail management experience • Knowledge of supply chain principles; • Prior management experience of logistics and warehousing; • Proficiency in relevant software packages and applications (SAP, REACH, NEWSFLOW, FREIGHT FOCUS) and or any warehouse logistics or inventory management system;

|Duties & Responsibilities
||• Execute operational strategy at the site; • Put operational plans in place at the site to ensure timely service at the right cost and quality; • Maximize the efficiency and productivity levels of all aspects of the site’s operation, continuously seeking to optimize processes and find value add opportunities together with the operations manager of the site • Ensure that the third party meet all operational targets, creating value for the business and meeting agreed service level agreements with regards to bulk picking and load splitting; • Ensure site operations achievement of budgeted with regards to cost by focusing on core non-media strategy; • Build effective, value adding , transparent relationships with all stakeholders (customers, suppliers and employees) through regular communication, reporting and personal interaction, • Monitor compliance with service level agreements, including compliance by service providers; • Optimally manage company assets and minimize loss through adherence to all relevant company standard operating procedures; • Embed and sustain the organization’s culture and values at the site; • Provide accurate and relevant reporting information to management monthly or as requested to assist with strategic region decision making; • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and statutory requirements at the site or in the area allocated to On the Dot; • Seek to continuously develop knowledge and information about the competitor actively and communicate this to relevant departments and the company; and • Quality control and performance management of teams, in terms of service levels, delivery frequency and standard operating procedures;
