We are currently recruiting for an IT Security Manager to join our cyber security team in Cape Town. This role will report directly into the CIO. Main Purpose of the Role

The IT Security Manager directs and manages all information and cyber security requirements and activities within the group.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the cyber security team, partners and services
• Leading the Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT)
• Successfully delivering new and continuous improvement information security group initiatives including the areas of cyber governance, vigilance and resilience.
• Cyber/Information security strategy
• Cyber/Information security risk management
• Cyber/Information security policies, standards, procedures
• Actively guiding and assisting technology teams in conforming to the aforementioned standards
• Phishing and awareness campaigns
• Reporting

• Information technology or relevant engineering degree
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) - CISM advantageous
• Strong technical ability
• Sound understanding of security frameworks – CIS20, NIST
• At least 3 to 5 years of solid cyber security experience
• At least 3 to 5 years of team and vendor management experience
